Room 14 has been busy looking at ways we can help others. Our "Actions Speak Louder than Words" Inquiry topic has brought out the best in all of us. We fundraised $50.00 for the Save the Kiwi Fund, by helping out at home to earn some pocket money. We donated a gold coin to help fundraise for seeing eye dog training. We organised a fun movie event for the seniors and helped to collect cans for the Salvation Army food bank. We've put others before ourselves by making a gift. We came up with the idea to collect unwanted items from home to pass on to those in need. Three boxes are in our room becoming very full with things to donate to: the SPCA, The Salvation Army and The K-Mart Wishing Tree. Thank you Room 14 for all your help in providing for others in need. You are indeed a generous and caring group of students.

We also enjoyed Book Week and dressing up as our favourite book character.
