TREMENDOUS MARKETS

Small breezes whipped through the air, as the sun streamed down. The glorious sound of the band rang through the air. The smell of sausages drifted around while kids screamed on the awesome   rides. Long queues of what some people thought would last for ever. Picnic rugs jammed in front of the stage with people lying on them because of the heat and stuffing with the food they got. Ice cream dribbled down the kid’s chins. Auckland is the best place for markets.

We have been writing descriptions that paint a picture in our readers' minds. Can you guess what we have written about?

Sheldon the Turtle

Sheldon looks like a bomb when he tucks himself inside his shell. His tail looks like a sharp end of a sword.  His colour is yellow and brown. Sheldon blows bubbles out of his mouth when he is in the water. He looks scaly like a fish.
Sheldon the turtle feels like a rock. Sheldon’s back feels smooth and scaley
Sounds like a snake “ssssssssssssssssssss.”
Sheldon smells like a wild hippo.
